Well Grounded is a locally owned cafe/coffee shop. Choose from a selection of hot and iced teas and espresso or coffee drinks. Each cup is ground and brewed fresh in a Cafe Suisse style, for a creamy fine finish. Try a Semifreddi pastry or fresh bagel in the morning, and a Spanish Bocadillo for lunch. It's a little sandwich with Spanish flair. Yum! All our coffee, tea and milk are certified organic. Free wireless internet available.
History
Established in 2004
A true family business, Jen and Kevin were married just before opening their little cafe on Stockton Avenue. They opened to share with the Bay Area the unique cafe Suisse style coffee, delicious pastries and fresh bagels. Espresso and coffee drinks are all organic -- making for the best latte around. The finest ingredients: Clover Organic Milk, Numi Organic Tea and locally roasted Lappert's Coffee -- a special formulation designed just for their machines.

Well Grounded uses fresh ingredients -- every day. The delicious Bocadillos and grilled Panini sandwiches delight the palate -- try the Turkey Pesto Panini made with house-made pesto or the Jacob's favorite, a bagel slathered with house-made hummus, topped with farmer's market tomatoes and cucumber.
