Our business specializes in making quality sandwiches from only the finest, freshest ingredients available. We want out customers to feel like they are part of a family, a family built around good food and good vibes. We provide a range of specialty sandwiches to satisfy any palate. History
Established in 2019.

Our sandwich shop, or garage as we like to call it, was created through an idea we had one day while cruising in our Volkswagen Beetle. Our love for quality sandwiches and the iconic bug seemed like a match made in heaven. We began to look for a place to put up shop and we finally decided on setting up shop in a place near and dear to our hearts so we opened in May of 2019 in Palo Alto. Our slogan “Hunger comes all natural,” is not only a testament to our dedication to providing fresh, quality sandwiches, but also to highlight that whenever hunger strikes, it should satisfy our most natural cravings.

Juan Zamora and Fransisco Cupa are VW fanatics through and through. They both share a love for VW’s and a good sandwich. At the Sandwich Bug they combine their love for both, all the while providing a quality product to the Palo Alto metropolitan area.
