My name is Sinisa and my healthy living adventure started in August 2005 when my best friend, Kris asked me to run a retail store (Kramer's Health Foods) he had just taken over because he didn't want another independent health food store to disappear. Since I had zero prior knowledge of health foods (I did know that broccoli is better for you than ice cream), I decided to learn as much as I possibly could by trying as many supplements, herbs, foods and body care products as I could get my hands on. The result is a decade long first-hand knowledge and experience in a wide range of supplements that completely transformed the quality of my life. Before Kramer's I spent a decade in advertising as a strategic planner. I find that my customers like my ability to translate somewhat complicated supplement benefits into few simple thoughts.

Kris' health food industry experience is far longer than mine. In 1992 Kris took over his mom's store, Bonne Sante', that she started in Hyde Park in 1969. Born into entrepreneurial spirit driven by his mom who at one point owned five health food stores in Chicagoland area, Kris continued the family tradition by opening a number of health food stores in Chicago and Florida. Today Bonne Sante' is a neighborhood gem, with 16 local staff members who are well educated in the store's extensive stock of supplements and herbs, groceries and a famous juice bar.

After successfully running Kramer's for five years, Sinisa and Kris' mom, LaVonne, opened Chicago Health Foods in the heart of Chicago's Gold Coast. Almost immediately after opening, the small store had become the go-to place for a healthy juice or lunch, natural body care and a rare resource to find the best all natural supplement or vitamin for just about any need.

After hearing laments from our numerous customers who are lucky enough to leave during Chicago winters that we don't have an easy way for them to keep purchasing our supplements while they are away, this website was born. The best part of this latest chapter in our healthy living adventure is bringing Kris' sister Maria on board to make sure every question is answered and every product delivered in shortest possible time. This is truly a family business with each one of us bringing a different talent for a common goal.
