At Spunky Dunkers, we are all about the family! From the amazing three sisters that had a vision - to our newest chain opening in Arlington Heights - we believe in celebrating the simple things in life - great donuts, great coffee and great people.

At Spunky Dunkers we make all of our donuts from scratch, every day. There are no pre-made mixes or batters, no pre-frozen donuts (as is the case with some chains and donuts at convenience stores). We love to cook, we love to bake, we love to pick fresh ingredients.

We source as much of our food from local purveyors as possible. Spunky Dunker's is also proud to carry the Sherman old-fashioned ice cream brand. Our micro-brewed ice cream will leave you wanting the second scoop.

We use classic donut recipes we developed from scratch. It took a long time to perfect Spunky Dunker's original cake donut recipe. In the early days we were mixing our dry ingredients by hand in small batches from home. Today we mix hundreds of pounds of mix at a time as well as our own glazes and icings. We don’t compromise our ingredient standards, and strive to produce quality donuts that taste good every time.

We even considered sustainability, stewardship, and reducing our carbon footprint when choosing our coffee cups. We knew plastic-coated paper cups don't insulate as efficiently as foam cups - we thought of every detail!
