Meet Dr. Blair Struble

Blair Struble, DMD, MS

I love being an orthodontist! I feel so fortunate to have joined the most amazing profession in the world. I have found that my ability to help people in such a meaningful way is so rewarding. It's very satisfying to have a people-focused job that also has hands-on technical aspects. I chose orthodontics because it combines the perfect mix of science, art and genuine personal interaction. I love working with my hands to create beautiful smiles and find the mechanics of orthodontics fascinating.

I am so lucky to have an incredible team. They strive every day to provide the best care for all of our patients. Our team is well-trained, dedicated, and driven to provide exceptional care to each and every person that enters our practice.

Education and Continuing Education
I grew up right here in Bend, Oregon, and I am proud of my education in dental and orthodontic medicine at some of the finest institutions in the Pacific Northwest. I did my undergraduate work at Willamette University in Salem then attended Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland to earn my Doctorate of Dental Medicine. After that, I spent some time in Seattle pursuing my Masters of Science in Dentistry and Certification in Orthodontics at the University of Washington.

Orthodontics is one of the fastest evolving and exciting areas of dentistry. Orthodontic treatment continues to improve and evolve year after year and I am excited to continually deliver these improvements and innovations to my patients. I regularly participate in continuing education programs through my many professional affiliations. I belong to the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, the Oregon Dental Association, the Central Oregon Dental Society, and the American Board of Orthodontics of which I am a Board Certified Diplomate. I often use my experience in the field to lecture to local high school, hygiene and dental assisting students about orthodontic techniques and technologies. I also spend much of my time visiting the local public schools to speak to elementary age children about the importance of great oral hygiene practices.
