Sarah's House was established in 2001 as a non-profit organization dedicated to providing emergency care, shelter, food, clothing and other basic necessities to women and their children. These individuals have found themselves in the frightening position of having no safe place to sleep or eat and few options for immediate assistance available.

The Mission of Sarah’s House is to be a community resource and to safely bring victims of domestic violence and homelessness toward self – sufficiency.

The opening of our New Beginnings Thrift Store is an additional way to support our mission by providing clothes, shoes, furniture and more at a reasonable cost to the community while also providing a voucher system so our residents can easily acquire things they need. The revenue generated by sales are directly utilized in support of our residential operations and services.
